Chinese leaders are demonstrating a high level of skill in managing the most populated country in the world. The success of their policies in the last decades is evident and a demonstration of what means to have 5000 years of history in one's back.

    Message to CCP leaders

    2013-03-17 10:09

Those who aspire to the truth must fix their gaze on spiritual cultivation, which transcends material things. They must think of how their reputations will live on after them, and choose fleeting loneliness over boundless misery..

I hope that peace, progress, stability and social development will be maintained and further advanced. I wish China lots of strength and good judgement for the years to come. It will probably be more difficult to achieve set goals than in the past.

Your dedication to serving the people of China is evident in your past and I rest comfortably knowing that the future of the PRC is in such capable hands. I am a foreigner, but I have many friends in China about whom I care deeply and I am relieved to know that their futures are secure.

The "Confucius Institute" model appears to be a good one. We need one here in South Carolina! Promote understanding through teaching your language to us, please! Show us what is unique about your culture. You have so much to offer the world - let us see it.

It's virtuous that the top leader Xi Jinping is progressive, at the same time he is in tune with those who have eaten more bitterness than others. This mindset will help in creating progressive and harmonious society in Asia and the world.

    My trip to China

    2013-03-12 13:49

"I just returned from my 7th trip to China. I haven't been to Shanghai yet, but I have spent a lot of time in Shenzhen. Since I first started going to China in 2006, I have seen nothing but forward progress and improvement in peoples standards of living there. I plan to retire there."

"The reality is that although China has many things that it failed to improve, I still see it a country with much spaces ahead to prosper. It's also ironic to see people keep belittling what china has done despite making a deep understanding of the huge difficulties behind each small progress."

I am not asking China to close down thousands of factories but for the Government to change the law in order to bring about change. New factories should only be allowed to open if they meet certain standards. There are also many Chinese businesses that break the laws to make a larger profit.

    Bridging the income gap

    2013-03-08 10:30

The easiest way to narrow the income gap is simply to tax the wealthiest at a much higher rate. And increase wages and increase domestic consumption start more public works projects in western China. China could become more agriculturally self sufficient by building massive irrigation projects.

I'm generally and thoroughly against regime change. In particular if a government has proven time and again that they did more for the country in 30 years than other - so called democracies - did in a century or longer."

One thing I greatly admire about China's system is that when someone is selected for the highest offices in the country, they are people who have significant experience and who have proven themselves in positions of lesser responsibility before being entrusted with the top offices in the country.

I have visited China many times. I agree that corruption exists in both countries. It's hard to say if one place is worse than the other. But I think China needs more to apply rule of law and transparency in government operations so that the citizens can simply watch their officials more closely.

I applaud the policies stated by the new president. He has followed up his words with action. Proof of this lies in the reporting by the media becoming more and more open with what is said. Imagine what strides and good that can be done if the CPC takes their position in power more seriously.

CPC has done a good job, wondrous to behold. I know that pressures from food safety, environmental issues and corruption keep haunting China, but don't merely stare at the 300m urban residents. China have a huge many people who can barely use anything digital. And CPC managed to feed them.
