著名美國搖滾樂隊“老鷹樂隊”的主唱之一的格列·弗雷（Glenn Frey）于當地時間1月18日在紐約去世，享年67歲。據報道，格列·弗雷是因為風濕性關節炎、結腸炎和肺炎引起的并發癥而導致去世。

Glenn Frey，全名Glenn Lewis Frey。身兼歌手、詞人和演員，擅長吉他、貝斯、鍵盤和口琴。生于密西根州的汽車工業中心底特律，曾是70年代美國最偉大的樂隊Eagles（老鷹樂隊）的核心成員及主唱之一。

作為老鷹樂隊（Eagles）的成員，Glenn Frey六次獲得格萊美獎，五次獲得美國音樂獎。 老鷹樂隊在世界范圍內共賣出超過120百萬張唱片，于1998年被選入美國搖滾名人堂。老鷹樂隊The Eagles在成為史上最為成功的樂隊之一后，于1980年解散。

單飛之后的Glenn Frey在1982年發行了首張個人專輯No Fun Aloud。之后又發行三張錄音室專輯，以及三張精選集，合集或者現場專輯。先后錄制熱門歌曲如 "The One You Love", "Smuggler's Blues", "Sexy Girl", "The Heat Is On", 以及 "You Belong to the City". 作為單飛藝人和之前的老鷹樂隊成員，Frey 總共有24首歌曲進入Billboard Hot 100排行榜的前40位，其中有12首是在個人發展時期。
