故宮文物醫(yī)院專(zhuān)家表示，一件文物來(lái)到文物醫(yī)院修復(fù)，其過(guò)程還真有些像是病人到醫(yī)院看病。首先，各文物保管部門(mén)列出需要修復(fù)或保養(yǎng)的文物清單，到文物醫(yī)院"掛號(hào)"(make appointments)。接著，要借助先進(jìn)設(shè)備(with the help of advanced equipment)，如文物專(zhuān)用CT機(jī)(CT machine for relics)、顯微觀察設(shè)備(device for microscopic observation)、材料分析設(shè)備(device for material analysis)、無(wú)損探傷設(shè)備(non-destructive inspection machine)，針對(duì)文物的病害進(jìn)行科學(xué)診斷(diagnosis)。根據(jù)不同文物的損傷情況，文物醫(yī)院給出修復(fù)意見(jiàn)，然后分別送入各相應(yīng)科室，這有點(diǎn)像是分診。然后就是開(kāi)始修復(fù)，文物修復(fù)完成后，醫(yī)院還要填寫(xiě)詳細(xì)的修復(fù)記錄(conservation and restoration records)，就像是一個(gè)病人的病歷。最后，修好的文物就可以出院了。
