All 11 yachts left Qingdao for Seattle of America on Friday, embarking Race 9 of the 2017-18 the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.

The area's efforts in creating the city's iconic brand "China's Sailing Capital" has gained recognition.
Clipper Race will help to inject new vitality to Qingdao's as well as the region's sailing sport and industry development.
