    Here are the?key numbers from the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games:

    1:41.57 - Tina Maze of Slovenia and Dominique Gisin of Swizerland shared the gold medal in ladies downhill after both women clocked a time of one hour, 41.57 seconds.

    1447 - on Feb 23, 2014 it will be 1,447 days until the opening ceremony of the 23rd Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, Republic of Korea, on Feb 9, 2018.

    74 - with 74 seconds to go in the women's ice hockey final, the US hit the post of Canada's empty goal. Instead of a 3-1 lead, the US then conceded the 2-2 equalizer and eventually lost 3-2 in overtime.

    43 - Teemu Selanne of Finland scored two goals in Finland's 5-0 win against the US on Saturday in the bronze medal match to win his fourth medal. With 43 total points, he is the top scorer in Olympic ice hockey and at the age of 43 years and 234 days he is also the oldest medal winner at the Sochi Games.

    23 - Netherlands won 23 of the 32 medals it could possibly win in speed skating in Sochi, a return of 72 percent (only one medal available in each of men's and ladies team pursuit).

    13 - by finishing first in biathlon's mixed relay on Wednesday (Feb 19) Ole Einar Bjoerndalen of Norway became the most decorated athlete in Olympic Winter Games history with a record total of 13 medals.

    10 - Marit Bjoergen of Norway became the most successful woman in winter Games history with a total of 10 medals: six gold medals, three silver medals and one bronze. The 10th medal came when she won the ladies 30km mass start in cross country on Saturday.

    7 - luger Albert Demchenko of Russia and ski jumper Noriaki Kasai of Japan both clinched a silver medal after participating in a record seventh Olympic Winter Games.

    6 - Armin Zoeggeler of Italy became the first athlete to win a medal at six Olympic Winter Games after claiming bronze in men's singles in luge.

    5 - Speed skater Ireen Wust of Netherlands is the only athlete to win five medals at Sochi 2014.

    1 - Sochi hosted the first Olympic Winter Games in Russia.

    0.003 - Zbigniew Brodka of Poland won men's 1,500m in speed skating with a margin of three thousandths of a second over Koen Verweij of Netherlands.
